Mike Hall, Principal Parks, Playground and Playing Fields Officer for Denbighshire CC, shares his experience of the electronic playground equipment (i.play) installed at one of the county's play areas last year.

Children in Rochdale recently had the opportunity to try i.play at a Playday event held in Broadfield Park. Playday is an annual event organised by the National Children’s Bureau and is a celebration of children's right to play. We were delighted to be invited by Rochdale Metropolition Borough Council to attend their event.

The i.play system has attracted a wealth of local, regional and national press coverage and we are pleased to publicise that the product has appeared in the Sunday Times and on BBC Radio 4.

Playdale Playgrounds Ltd have recently worked alongside Walkers to produce state of the art playground equipment for the 'Parks for Life' initiative which features the i.play system as an integral part of the design. Opening days for the Reading and Leicester playgrounds took place at the beginning of September.
